Recently, Jessica Wilson, a friend as close to me as a sister, has decided to become a doula! I am so proud of her and delighted by her choice. I had the honor of attending the birth of her second child in her home in West Chicago in 2010. She is a strong mama and a deeply caring woman whom I know will help many other mothers on their journey through pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting. So it is a joy to me to share the link to Jessica's birth story ... which shows part of how our friendship grew ... and even more about how Jessica's journey will bless any family she serves in the future.
